Oklahoma Outside Events provides electronic chip and manual race timing, event scoring for cycling and all types of running events and triathlons, music and sound services for races/events, and USA Cycling Officiating services. We have the timing equipment and technical and scoring expertise, plenty of chips, feather flags, tents, a sound system, equipment trailer, the willingness to travel, and sparkling personalities.

We have years of race timing, race set up, and overall race day services experience between us. We’ve provided these services for ALL KINDS of events that include: Conquer the Gauntlet adventure races, Dirty 30 mud races, a variety of themed and charity 5k’s, mountain bike races, road cycling crits, trail runs, stair climbs, Oklahoma Senior Game events, triathlons, duathlons, and fun runs such beer, donut, and nighttime glow runs. We travel all over the State with this super fun and cool business, exploring our Great State and cycling and hiking Oklahoma’s beautiful trails when we can.

We believe that to be happy & healthy you have to KEEP MOVING AND STAY ACTIVE, at any age or stage of your life & we love to celebrate with athletes of all kinds as they cross the finish line. We are both members of a local cycling team, both sit on several Boards of Directors and are members of the Tour de Dirt Management Team. Tour de Dirt is the official USA Cycling State Mountain Bike Championship Series for Oklahoma. We are USA Cycling Licensed Officials & SafeSport Certified.

ABOUT THE OWNERS:
Co-Owner Debbie Uglean is a born & raised Okie. “Having extensive experience in public relations, marketing, leadership, and fundraising for groups such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, Kiwanis Club, Special Olympics, Leaders of Tomorrow, Boards of Directors, and the Yukon Public Schools Advisory Board, just to name a few, I am honored to be able to continue to give back to the community by running a company that provides affordable timing & race services to groups across our great State who are trying to raise funds for good causes. I have my Bachelors of Science in Organizational Leadership and my Masters of Science in Management, both from SNU.”

Co-Owner Tom Uglean is a Cal Okie, having moved to Oklahoma from California in the late 80’s. Tom is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Management Information Systems. Tom has years of experience as a Boy Scout leader in Norman, and has been instrumental in the success of several Boy Scouts advancing to Eagle Scouts. Tom is our technical guy and has Macgyver like skills when it comes to timing equipment, as he’s been in several sticky & at times funny race day situations. Tom is a cyclist and enjoys enduro and downhill mountain bike riding. He currently is a member of and serves on the Board of Directors for Team Phoenix Cycling Team, a bike team sponsored by Bike One.

Who’s ready for a good ole fashioned mountain bike race?!? Bring your bikes and your courage to Medicine Park, Oklahoma on October 25th for the last Tour De Dirt series race of this season, where we will be timing and scoring the event. Anyone can enter the race, you don’t have to be on a team #oklahomaoutsideevents

This annual event is ALWAYS fun and held at a great & beautiful venue. These race and event promotors, Mountain Bike Club of the Wichitas, know how to have a good time!

They are also hosting an April Fool’s Costume Parade Ride Friday night at 5:30 and several downhill competition segments throughout the day on Saturday, the first shuttle leaves at 9am.
